Rostering home
As we are still experiencing a high number of staff absent due to illness and difficulty in getting relief staff to cover classes, the decision has been made to continue rostering home.
The schedule is as follows:
Week 9:
Monday 27 June - Year 9 at home
Tuesday 28 June - Year 10 at home
Wednesday 29 June - Year 11 at home
Thursday 30 June - Years 12 & 13 at home
Friday 1 July - Year 9 at home
Week 8:
Monday 20 June - Year 9 at home
Tuesday 21 June - Year 10 at home
Wednesday 22 June - Year 11 at home
Thursday 23 June - Years 12 & 13 at home
Friday 24 June - Matariki (public holiday)
Week 7:
Monday 13 June - Years 12 & 13 at home
Tuesday 14 June - Year 9 at home
Wednesday 15 June - Year 10 at home
Thursday 16 June - Year 11 at home
Friday 17 June - Years 12 & 13 at home
Rostering home next week: 7 - 10 June 2022
As there are likely to be a number of staff absent from school next week, we have decided to continue rostering home. The schedule will be as follows:
Friday 3 June - Year 10 at home
Monday 6 June - Queens Birthday
Tuesday 7 June - Years 12 & 13 at home
Wednesday 8 June - Year 9 at home
Thursday 9 June - Year 10 at home
Friday 10 June - Year 11 at home
There are a few exceptions where studnts will still be able to come to school, as there were this week:
Scheduled school trips or off-site visits
Extra and co-curricular activities
Sports and cultural trainings and fixtures
Pre-organised courses and placements
Year 9 students who require supervision
Student learning activities will continue to be available through teachers google sites under the curriculum tab.
Rostering home this week
Due to a significant number of staff absent from school due to illness and the difficulty in getting relievers to cover classes, the decision has been made to return to rostering home of year levels for most of the coming week.
The schedule is as follows:
Monday 30 May - Year 10 at home.
Tuesday 31 May - Year 11 at home.
Wednesday 1 June - Year 12 & 13 at home.
Thursday 2 June - Year 9 at home.
Friday 3 June - To be decided on Wednesday.
There are a few exceptions where students will still be able to come to school on their rostered home day, these are:
Involvement in Vaiaso o le Gagana Samoa - Samoan Language Week activities
Scheduled school trips or off-site visits
Extra and co-curricular activities
Sports and cultural trainings and fixtures
Pre-organised courses and placements
Year 9 students who require supervision
As with last term, student learning activities will be available through the teachers’ google sites that can be accessed from the school’s website under the curriculum tab.
